TVXQ’s Yunho showed off his ice dancing skills to a medley of Michael Jackson songs.

Yunho, who participated in the Michael Jackson tribute concert last year, showed off his shocking figure skating skills during a recent recording of ”Kim Yuna’s Kiss & Cry“, and received a standing ovation from the audience.

It’s been said that Yunho’s moonwalk and spins were so great that they made people forget he was dancing on ice. His sophisticated stage manner and his first attempt at a new visual medium received a great cheer, as his hot performance heated up the cold arena.

Yunho’s “Homage to Michael Jackson” in Kim Yuna’s “Homage to Korea” will be revealed through the first broadcast of “Kim Yuna’s Kiss & Cry” on May 22nd.

Rainbow’s Go Woori has been cast for the movie “You’re My Pet” as a minor character alongside lead role Jang Geun Suk.

“You’re My Pet” is the Korean remake of the Japanese manga, “Kimi wa Petto“, by OgawaYayoi. Actress Kim Ha Neul will be playing the role of ‘Ji Eun’, a beautiful, smart, and talented woman who’s revered by society but has trouble fitting in with her peers.

Jang Geun Suk, who will be playing a classic ballerino named ‘Inho’, befriends her.

As for Woori, she’ll be playing Jang Geun Suk’s ex-girlfriend, ‘Lee Min Sun’, and will begin filming by the end of this month.

Representatives of DSP Media stated, “Woori’s role is small, but her character is important for the overall story. Because of her ‘Black Swan’ performance in the ‘To Me’ music video, she’s been receiving offers from various movies and dramas.”

On May 17th, MBC’s new drama “Ripley” held its production conference at the Banyan Tree with lead roles Kim Seung Woo, Lee Da Hae, Park Yoochun, and Kang Hye Jung in attendance.

As it’s his second drama, Yoochun was asked to explain the difference between his role in “Ripley” and his role in “Sungkyunkwan Scandal.”

He answered, “Well, I’ve gone from wearing hanbok to suits now… I think the way the two characters express pain is different. Unlike ‘Lee Sun Joon’, my character in ‘Ripley’ starts everything with a laugh. He’s always smiling, but it only takes a moment for him to begin shedding tears.”

He continued, “There was definitely a lot of pressure, and even after I decided to take the role, I was still worried over whether I’d do well. One of my greatest concerns was how the viewers would perceive me, especially since they thought well of me with my previous work. Everyone treats me so well at the recording so I’m able to take part in it comfortably now.”

When asked about working with his seniors, he revealed, “I was so nervous, I made a lot of NGs. I’d blush and sweat. It’s my second drama so I’m definitely seeing a wider perspective in comparison to my debut.”

Kang Hye Jung who is playing the second female lead role, praised, “Yoochun-ssi is so great at acting and works extremely hard. I think he fits his character well of being a smooth man of the city. A person of his level could probably take on dramas catering to the teenage audience, but he doesn’t rely on his popularity at all and is determined to live life as a true actor.”

On his reasons for choosing “Ripley”, Yoochun commented, “I’ve really wanted to do a melodrama. I loved the character as well, and after seeing the line-up, I wanted to be able work with them.”

“Ripley” will debut on May 30th.

We’ve been reporting that JYJ would be heading to Los Angeles this week to begin prepartions for the North American leg of their ‘2011 World Tour‘. On May 16, JYJ’s Jaejoong and Junsu held a press conference to answer questions regarding their upcoming tour. Unfortunately, Yoochun was not able to attend due to his prior engagements in Korea.

The press conference was held at the Clive Davis Theater at the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles. Initially, there was an awkward tension in the air because of how there were only two chairs on stage. It was immediately broken by Jaejoong’s entrance as he greeted the press with a casual “Hi” before stepping onto the stage with Junsu. Hilariously, Jaejoong noted that the chair was a bit too high for him, and caused a chuckle to reverberate through the room.

The press conference took on a more official air when C.S. Hah, the founder of Powerhouse Entertainment, brought about the first question of the day.

Tell us about the upcoming tour and how you feel about it >

Junsu: We have been given the opportunity to have a concert tour in America. Though we’ve performed in the States on previous occasions, this is our first time headlining our own tour. Because it’s also the first time we are touring a variety of locations (including Vancouver, New Jersey, San Jose, and Los Angeles), I am that much more nervous and hold higher expectations.

Since it’s our first concert that we are headlining with our own name, we’ve prepared a lot. Please anticipate it.

Jaejoong: I feel great to have the opportunity to hold concerts in America and Canada. Because it’s a concert that came after our Asian tour, we are much more at ease. However, the anticipation of meeting new fans makes me both nervous and excited. We will work hard, so please enjoy our upcoming performances.

On May 17th, B2ST finally unveiled their long-awaited music video for their “Fiction comeback.  This five-minute long, high-quality music video is already being deemed as a ‘music drama’ amongst music fans on YouTube and Gom TV.

The music video features dramatic scenes that intertwine with cuts of choreography. Aligning with the song’s heartbreaking lyrics, the video sees rapper Junhyung unwilling to accept that the woman he loves (Park Bo Young) has left him. He begins to write a fictional story in his head to continue his romance with her, as exemplified by the scenes weaving in and out of his imagination, contrasting starkly with his reality.

In response to the tremendous attention their comeback is garnering, leader Doojoon tweeted, “We’re all determined to go at this as if we’re all starting anew. This is our first album. We’ll be dancing and singing like this is our first time ever. I bow my head and ask you to please support us.”

Eight out of the 10 tracks included in “Fact and Fiction” are currently competing against each other amongst the ‘Top 10′ in music charts. Meanwhile, their first release, “Rainy Days“, is also still going strong.

Rania’s debut track, “Dr. Feel Good“, seems to be a hit with the international audience, as it was recently featured in the American Spike TV drama, “Blue Mountain State 2.”

Fans previously heard the song briefly being played on MTV’s “Real World XXV: Vegas, so this is the second time their song has been aired in the States. In “Blue Mountain State 2″, the song begins playing towards the end of the fifth episode during a high tension club scene.

Representatives of DR Music commented, “On the 17th, we confirmed that the English version of ‘Dr. Feel Good’ was used in ‘Blue Mountain State 2.’ The song is quite trendy and modern so we can see why American drama producers would use it. We’ve heard from representatives in the States that the song will be used in more dramas soon.”

They continued, “K-Pop is being spread all across the world through YouTube, so we’re all looking forward to seeing how it will be used in the movie industry.”

The girls also recently guested on Kim Heechul’s “Young Street” and earned some love from their senior. He tweeted, “I wonder if people know that I, too, feel happy when I see girl groups… On stage, they’re impressive, but off stage, they’re so cute. They’re talented in both singing and dancing. Rania gave me an autograph while calling me ‘Kim Heechul’ senior.”

He continued, “Saem, Di, Jooyi, Joy, Riko, T-ae, Xia!! Like a DJ, I memorized all of their [names] keke.
